About The Tax Law Center

The Tax Law Center of Universitas Muslim Indonesia is a scholarly centre for the development of tax law, formed as an academic platform to strengthen study, research, community service, and advocacy in taxation.

It embodies the university’s commitment to the three pillars of Indonesian higher education — particularly in tax law, fiscal policy, tax compliance, tax justice, and public financial governance.

Vision

To be a centre of excellence in tax law development that is academic, professional, independent, responsive to fiscal policy dynamics, and oriented towards justice, legal certainty, and public benefit.

Mission

1. Conduct studies, research, and scholarly publication in tax law, fiscal policy, and state finance law.
2. Develop education, training, seminars, discussions, and competence-building programmes.
3. Contribute academic thinking to the formation and evaluation of tax policy.
4. Provide advocacy, assistance, consultation, and legal services in taxation.
5. Strengthen collaboration with government, tax authorities, professional bodies, business, universities, and international networks.
6. Develop data systems, documentation, and information technology supporting tax law research and services.
